Enzyme Kinetics - Apparatus
The oxygen produced will be collected by water displacement. The apparatus is shown below. The catalase and hydrogen peroxide solutions are mixed in the left tube. When the oxygen is formed it travels though the tube and into the graduated cylinder on the right. The air entering the cylinder forces the water out the bottom.
