NET 112: A+ Operating Systems Technologies

Course Description

Provides students with experience installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and networking recent and current personal computer operating systems. Recommended preparation:  CIS 101, NET 101, NET 106, or equivalent experience.

Required Materials

  • Textbook
  •  A+
  • Internet access and a Harper Blackboard account.
  • A computer that can be partitioned, reformatted, etc.  As an alternative, you can use a PC with VMWare to create virtual machines for many of the lab exercises.  Harper lab I 205 has computers and software that may be configured as necessary for this course.
