NET 268: Windows Directory Services Design
Course Description
Provides students the knowledge and skills to design and implement the directory services in a Microsoft-based network, upgrade, and maintain the Directory Services in a Microsoft-based network. Recommended preparation: NET 263 or equivalent experience.

Required Materials
- 70-297: MCSE Guide to Designing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure – Course Technology – ISBN-10: 0619120266 ISBN-13: 9780619120269
- Internet access and a Harper Blackboard account.
- A pair of computers that can be partitioned, reformatted, etc. As an alternative, you can use a PC with VMWare to create virtual machines for many of the lab exercises. Harper lab I 205 has computers and software that may be configured as necessary for this course.
Course Status
Because Microsoft will soon be ending support for Windows Server 2003, this course is offered by request. Contact the department coordinator for more information.
