NET 281: Networking Systems Security
Course Description
Provides students with hands-on experience securing a variety of networking systems. Topics include Linux and Windows operating systems, routers, wireless networks, auditing and contingency planning. Recommended preparation: NET 280 or equivalent experience.

- Internet access and a Harper Blackboard account.
- A pair of computers that can be partitioned, reformatted, etc. As an alternative, you can use a PC with VMWare to create virtual machines for many of the lab exercises. Harper lab I 205 has computers and software that may be configured as necessary for this course.
