Ethics Bowl

  • Should protests be banned at funerals?
  • Should students be able to decide which clubs and organizations their student fees go to support?
  • Should pharmacists be able to refuse to fill prescriptions for birth control because it violates their conscience?

These are the kinds of questions we consider in the Ethics Bowl, which is a student club dedicated to discussing ethical issues that come from case studies, stories about people who are faced with having to make difficult ethical decisions.

Ultimately, the Ethics Bowl culminates in a competition, but many students participate simply to enjoy the discussions.
