Blood Buffer - The Experiment
The experiment is divided into nine steps. At each step you will be shown a picture taken while that step was performed. You will also be able to read the pH and to see a close-up picture of the beaker taken after the step has been completed. For each step you should record your observations. Your observations might include a color change, precipitate formation, evolution of gas, or some similar result. For example you might record, "small bubbles were formed". Your observations should not include an explanation of what you think occurred. For example, you should not say "carbon dioxide gas was formed".
Each step will also include one or more questions for you to answer. They are labeled with a "Q" followed by a number. They will often ask for a chemical explanation of what you observed and might require referring to the equilibrium given in the background section.
