Enzyme Kinetics - Solutions
Hydrogen Peroxide
The hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) solution used is the same kind that you buy in the drug store. It contains 3% H2O2, with the remainder of the solution being water.

Catalase
The enzyme solution used was made by dissolving a couple of drops of blood in about 50 ml of water. The solution could also have been made using potatoes, horseradish or a number of other sources but the concentration of catalase in these sources is generally less than is found in blood.
