Color Change Region of Thymolphthalein

A drop of thymolphthalein indicator has been added to each of the three tubes below. The tube at left had a pH of 9, the one in the middle a pH of 10, and the one on the right a pH of 11. Note how the color gradually changes from colorless to blue.
