At Harper, we don’t compromise quality for affordability. Harper’s tuition is an incredible value and an investment that will pay returns for years to come. Harper’s cost-per-credit-hour for in-district residents can be one-fifth of the cost of a four-year university. Harper is also a smart choice for getting started on a bachelor’s degree. We have transfer agreements with a number of institutions that make it easy to transfer and save up to $61,000.
Each year, Harper awards more than $16 million in scholarship and grant money to students. Adult learners also have access to many types of financial assistance. Financial aid available includes:
Harper offers a convenient payment plan, with automatic monthly payment via checking account, savings account, debit card or credit card. This tuition payment plan is interest free and allows you to spread a semester’s cost across the term.

What’s FAFSA and Why Is It Important to Me?
Applying for any type of financial aid starts by completing a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form – even for adult students. You can access and complete the FAFSA form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Please note: There are a number of instances where the FAFSA web site refers to students and parents – this site is for all students (recent high school grads and adult learners alike), disregard the reference to parents if it is not relevant to your situation.
