About Us

The International Student Office at Harper College is located in the English as a Second Language (ESL) department. Although all international students are not ESL students, the staff members in this office are welcoming and able to support all international students. We encourage all international students to call or stop by as often as possible.

International Student Office Mission

The purpose of the International Student Office (ISO) is to enhance the educational, cultural and social experiences of non-immigrant students by providing knowledge and expertise in such areas as admissions, immigration, culture and additional advising concerns.

The ISO also acts as a referral source for other offices and departments in the college. It serves as Harper College's link with the United States Departments of State and Homeland Security, and works closely with the Admissions Department to ensure that the college remains in compliance with U.S. Immigration requirements.
